Entering the ruins from multiple points nearly simultaneously the party advances towards the giant snake with steady determination.

Gallandrin sends the elemental into attack, Ragnum is overcome with divine fevor and charges madly into the rubble as it collapses ensnaring him up to his waist. Luthaist leaps from the ruined window ledge down towards the snake. Horin prepares to turn undead while Gallandrin casts Dragons Breath upon Ragnum. Mourn makes his way to the NW wall of the temple looking for an opportunity shot.

An aura of arcane energy sweeps over Gallandrin briefly as the naga tries to Banish him to another plane of existence but the spell fails. Gallandrin retaliates with a lighting bolt just missing Ragnum and Horin standing in the doorway. The bolt severely wounds the naga as Mourn moves into the position and takes a shot that does wild, fumbling his attack. Horin casts freedom of movement on Ragnum freeing him from the rubble, he breaks free and lands three more hard blows. The elemental now in position repeatedly slams the naga who quickly drops back through the rubble into the crypts.

Luthaist and Horin make their way to the spot where the naga disappeared and Horin leaps boldly down a dark narrow shaft landing in the crypt followed by Ragnum. Luthaist, Mourn, and the elemental follow seconds later. They find themselves in a once beautiful crypt, now desecreted and bisected by two crudedly made tunnel entrances. Ragnum and Horin enter the northern tunnel chasing and continuing to attack on the naga as it flees. Hurling a javelin Ragnum catches part of the tail on the tunnel wall as Luthaist and Mourn sprint past and takes a few more chuncks of rotted flesh out of the naga with a viscious sword attacks. Up above Gallandrin sends his hawk familiar down the shaft enchanted with dragons breath, it catches up to the naga as is it rounds the corner with another round of lightening. In desperation the naga turns and flame strikes the tunnel supports vaporizing the hawk, damaging the air-elemental, and igniting the timber supports which begin to buckle.

The party still in pursuit of the naga rush past the burning timber supports as it collapses behind them. They find themselves in the cellar of the North Wind Inn and now, able to combine their attacks kill the naga. Ragnum beheads the creature as Luthaist and Mourn sense something moving in the room above and quickly move into the shadows to prepare an ambush. The sounds of bones scraping across the floor are heard moving towards the trap door at the top of the stairs. Horin decides to wear the head of the naga and poke it up through the trapdoor to take a look at whats in the room above. Still outside the crypt Gallandrin hears the low rumble of the tunnel collapsing and notices a house and street outside the inn sink a few feet in the ground. He begins moving towards the inn along the main street.
