{{Session | campaign = Echos of Lhynn | session_date = 06 March 2026 | game_date = Evening / Late Night | synopsis = Session 147: The Tossing of the Salad. After a harrowing separation, the party reunited for a desperate stand in the southern corridors. Through a combination of high-level necrotic magic and a literal "salad-tossing" melee from Egon, the group broke the Vegepygmy siege. Following a tactical retreat down an elevator shaft, the survivors secured a storage room on a lower level, uncovering cryptic logs regarding the "14th Year Protocol" and the location of vital Orange Clearance cards. Continued from [[Session 146 Jurassic Distraction]] | summary = === The Southern Gauntlet === The session began with the party fractured. Nail and Balmaris were being dragged toward the radiation chambers until a daring escape re-established the line. The Breakout: Nail utilized ''Misty Step'' to slip his bonds, while Balmaris manifested a massive Blade Barrier. The shimmering wall of force shredded six Vegepygmies instantly, though the tight quarters meant Nail took collateral damage, requiring an immediate high-level ''Heal''. "Toss the Salad!": Durmen provided the tactical rallying cry of the night, urging the party to "toss the salad" of the fungal horde. The phrase became a grim reality as the melee turned into a blender of organic matter. === The Spore-Cloud Siege === The hallway outside the Reactor Room became a meat-grinder as the "Spore Network" directed the Vegepygmies to focus their spears on the casters. [[File:Session 147 The Tossing of the Salad.jpg|thumb|The Tossing of the Salad]] The Barbarian's Fall: Aldran suffered a catastrophic spear strike (Critical Hit) that dropped him to 0 HP. In a moment of pure grit, he rolled a 19 on his Death Save, narrowly avoiding a permanent end before Egon could reach him with a 5th-level ''Healing Word''. The Algae Pool: Egon (Michael) held the line with a series of brutal quarterstaff strikes. His standout moment was a Critical Hit (Roll 83) that stunned a Vegepygmy leader and created a literal pool of algae, proving the efficacy of "tossing the salad." Fumble in the Fray: Nail (Mark) suffered a critical lapse in focus (Fumble: 60), leaving him exposed and suffering a penalty to hit while the pygmies pressed the advantage. === The Descent and Discovery === With a fresh patrol of mold-kin closing in from the south, the party made a break for the central elevator shaft. The Float: Aldran led the leap, grabbing a moving handle and floating down through the dim light of the shaft. The party followed, eventually breaching a secure doorway on a lower level. The Storage Cache: The room contained storage crates filled with personal items and a functioning computer terminal. Durmen successfully bypassed the sequence lock, allowing the party to secure the room for a much-needed Long Rest. === Terminal Intelligence === After 8 hours of rest, Durmen used ''Comprehend Languages'' to deep-dive into the station logs. Technical Schematics: Durmen successfully reverse-engineered a "Fireball" formula from the station's energy output logs. The Radiation Leaks: Logs confirmed that "Radiation Leaf Ships" had crashed into the facility, and the resulting energy leaks are the direct cause of the local mutations. The Orange Cards: Searching for clearance, the terminal revealed three Orange Keycards: one at the entrance, one on this level, and one currently moving on the level below. | treasure = Fireball Formula (Transcribed by Durmen). | key_npcs = The Curator (Terminal AI), Vegepygmy Patrols. | tasks = Locate the moving Orange Keycard on the lower level. Decipher the "14th Year Protocol." | rumors = A "moving" keycard suggests a high-level security droid or a survivor is active below. }} ==== β οΈ SESSION 148 STATUS CARRYOVER ==== {| class="wikitable" !
