Session 156 Imperial Overtures

Party débats their actions aldran tries to determine which is the leader convince the warforged they are here to help defeat two headed monsters they ask for Durmen to step forward, the mistress wants to speak to him. they ask the party to remove their arms/weapons Egon says we cant take our arms off one chuckles aldran slowly removes all his weapons one by one nail does so as well

Leanna lands, walks semi-sexily , flirts with Durmen, she admires his brain She then asks Aldran for pecatude She asks Egon about his interests. She tries to seduce the party and convince them to join her in rebuilding the phasnosh empire. She relates to some of the history of the empire, and that it was strong or large, and expand a Multiverse. She wishes to see it restored to its former glory, to cautions the party to be aware of religious zealots who also seek to restore the empire, but are actually just using it as a pretext for their greed/vanity.

She talks about how the Phasnosh expanded and sent our explorers and colonies to find the raw materials to continue expanding teh empire. During the millenai guilds discovered that some of the gemstones and various metals brought back possessed magical properties useful for their own purposes.Unfortunately, they tried to conceal this from the Emperor, who soon discovered their deception. This treachery validated his predecessor, Videric’s, wisdom in creating the Warforged to ensure loyalty to the Empire and, by extension, the Emperor himself. In a rage, he turned his personal Warforged guard on the mages. Those who refused to submit to eternal servitude as a Warmage (a Warforged spellcaster) were either killed or exiled through the portals they had opened. The Book of Vedric Book of Gates, which detailed the locations and incantations needed to open the portals, was torn into multiple pieces and scattered across these newly opened gates. As a result, the knowledge of the creators and the creators themselves were lost across the Multiverse.

Leaxanna gives Aldran a star trek like communicator. They are ready to give her the decision. All they have to do is press it, and she can speak with them from any location. She orders the war forged up onto the dropship and follow them aboard. It takes off to the south.

the arrive at the tavern --- tawny haired elf with fingerless gloves, the proprietor of the Griffin and the Warlock tavern. Norman Elhier. He's an eclectic, high energy fellow and after some discussion negotiate is private rooms for the party along with a full meal. He provides keys to reach party member, and food/drinks.

Probably discusses options and something of the moral quandary about how to respond to Lexanna's offer to stay here and help rebuild the fashion empire, or we returned to their home plane/planet Greyhawk.

Durmen, we have an opportunity to unmake the villain (Lexana).

Over the course of the evening's discussion, multiple groups of Dock workers and adventures come in. Since the party bought all the rooms out, they all leave after talking a few of them take note of the party, one group spent some time talking to them. Not long before the party retires for the evening the south patrol comes in and talks to Norman points to the party that they shake their heads and leave.

The goto their room and get a long rest. They went to the smell of fresh breakfast being cooked. As they go downstairs. One of the staff Jaspar Vance it seems very interested in introducing them to the south winds trading company as he's aware they are hiring mercenaries to guard their convoys and warehouses.

After Jasper goes back to make the breakfast again, weight staff comes up and begins talking with the party. She speaks in a hush voice about Cari overheard Jasper's recommendation. They see employment with the south winds and counts against it as they are not well liked by the populace. They tend to shake down merchants and have a very aggressive curfew along with an informant network.

Miranda offers Elvish Spiced omelettes 2GP. Set a reminder to party fails their constitution say due to the high spice content and suffers disadvantage on combat and agility checks for an hour to her stomach are so upset. She and Jasper both laughed at the party who insisted they could handle the "native spice" version.

Miranda curious, asks Egon about druids, she's never been more than a few miles out of town. She offers to invite Egon over for dinner to learn more about druids.

Jasper offers to take the party to a local magic shop Bitter Valkyrie. Jasper is very excited that the south boys have arrived in town because they have brought order and business in even though their tactics are very heavy handed. On the way to the shop 3 southwinds guards stop the party, They ask Egon about his green skin color. They are looking for other adventurers who recently caught some problems in town. Two of them have greenish skin but are orks. They insist the party notify them if they come across any adventures match the description.

After a brief walk, they arrive at the bitter bow cry upon entering our greeted by a very elderly gentleman. Can you provide some additional information about possible leads for locations of magic items and that some sages recently moved in to town and I've been busy deciphering documents obtained by other adventurers from the fort a few miles to the west.

One of the items of note is a piece of parchment torn out of a religious book. It contains an ingredient list, supposedly of interest to a necromancer. Durmen noticed that the word Vecna along with some other writing and he can't decipher are written in the margin. (Summoning spell but party doesn't know what it is)

Party buys a few magical items, but the prices are extremely high and they decide to seek business elsewhere. They had out of the street..
